Ornament!

I have been making ornaments for a couple years now (mostly European Robins-- think Beatrix Potter) but the newest batch of owls that flew out of the kiln today just slayed me.  And how insane is this: they each had their own personality, so of course I had to photograph them one...

Really, they should have the names of Romantic 19th century poets.

Here are the European Robins, which I have always loved because they are fat and small.  I've never seen one in real life, though, which probably makes my European friends (do I have European friends?) fall over with laughter.  What would that be like here?  Having a fainting spell because you glimpsed a chipmunk?

squirrely or not, i love my tiny, chubby european robin ornament! it's hanging above our seasonal table for now, until the tree goes up. thank you!
